Policies and Procedures
Cancellations
Cancellations must be received at least one hour prior to a scheduled pick-up in Fairfield County, and two hours prior to a scheduled pick-up outside of Fairfield County, or especially at any airport. No-shows on airport arrivals or pick-ups outside of Fairfield County will be charged at the full rate, plus waiting time. Local pick-ups canceled on location will be charged accordingly. Failure to call our office (if contact is not made) will result in a charge at the same rate as if the trip had taken place, plus any waiting time.
Airport Arrivals
If a customer is unable to locate our chauffeur upon arriving at an airport, it is the customer's responsibility to call Drivers Unlimited where we will be happy to assist you. If our driver is unable to locate you, we will call all contacts provided to us for your trip before dismissing the chauffeur. If we are unable to make contact with you, we may dismiss the chauffeur after one hour of waiting time.
Airport Waiting Time
Our customers receive one hour of free waiting time on flight arrivals. We closely monitor arrival times to avoid charging airport waiting time. However, sometimes waiting time cannot be avoided.
We will never abandon a customer at the airport. We will wait until the scheduled flight arrives and charge accordingly unless we are told to dismiss the car. If this occurs, charges will be from the airport to our office plus any waiting time, tolls and parking.
Meeting Our Chauffeur at the Airport
When meeting our chauffeur at the airport, he or she will be carrying a Drivers Unlimited sign with your name or your company's name on it. We have a list of meeting locations specific to each airport and terminal. You will be told of this location before your trip as well upon your arrival via text message and email.
If you do not see your chauffeur upon arrival, please call us immediately. For your added convenience, if you have carry-on luggage only, or no luggage at all, you may schedule curbside pickup when making your reservation.
Payment
Excluding pre-arranged billing agreements, payment should be made with a major credit card. We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Diner's Club.
